Flaming Flagettes Art Calendar
The Flaming Flagettes, New Orleans’ only all-drag, flag-dancing krewe! We’re a queer and genderfuck group that has paraded and performed at Mardi Gras, Gay Easter, Southern Decadence, and other occasions since 2016—merging DIY drag culture and costuming with our city’s rich street parade tradition.
This year’s calendar offers an unruly, campy, and chaotically queer take on ~~*FINE ART*~~ with each month featuring our interpretation of a famous work of art: from Michelangelo and Matisse to Banksy and Lisa Frank. The calendar also includes birthdays of queer/drag icons and important moments in queer his/her/theirstory.
